Level Best is a social enterprise project started by the Dacon Trust, whose purpose is to offer genuine and meaningful work skills training opportunities to adults and young people with learning disabilities.

In our Colchester hub, Trainees are inspired to achieve their Level Best through growing, making, baking and creating – with our team of volunteers and staff encouraging them every step of the way

At the Level Best Art Studio, our aim is to provide all our trainees with the freedom and space to be as creative as possible.

In addition to painting and drawing we encourage each trainee to try out new techniques and find something that makes them excited, whether that be printing, weaving, mosaic making, digital art or sculpting.

At the Level Best Pop-Up Art Sale at The Minories, our trainees will be offering up never before seen works alongside previously exhibited pieces on canvas and paper, sculptures, greetings cards and postcards for you to purchase at affordable prices.
