The British Origami Society Convention returns to Colchester for their 2024 Spring edition!

Join dozens of top origami creators from around the world for folding classes at the BOS Spring Convention. There will a unique opportunity to meet a wide group of creators, learn from them and see a very special exhibition of the world’s best origami.

There will also be an opportunity to see some of the treasures from the archives, housed here at The Minories, which will be on display alongside rare book sales and auctions. This is all in addition to a range of over 30 folding classes, workshops, a novelty competition, an exhibition review, late night informal folding and more! Classes will range from from simple to complex, both beginners and experts are welcome.

Book tickets via the BOS website, for £15 for a single day or £25 for both days.

Non-ticket holders are welcome on Saturday 10am - 4pm, when there will be an exhibition of origami in the downstairs gallery.

This event will take place in both our upstairs galleries and our downstairs rooms. Please be advised there is no step free access to our upstairs galleries.
